Customer Preparation Checklist

You do not need to have everything perfect before I arrive. This page is simply a practical checklist for customers who want to know what to move, close, unlock, or mention before an exterior cleaning service.

🏠

House Washing Checklist

Before a house wash, clear access around the home and make sure windows, doors, pets, outdoor taps, and sensitive areas are sorted before I arrive.

During house washing

Please avoid walking through active work areas while cleaning solutions are being applied or dwelling on surfaces.

🪟

Window Cleaning Checklist

Before window cleaning, please make sure the windows can be accessed and opened where required. This helps with glass, frames, sills, tracks, screens, and sliding doors.

🏚️

Roof Cleaning Checklist

Before roof cleaning, keep access clear and let me know about anything that may affect roof safety, runoff, solar panels, skylights, fragile areas, or nearby gardens.

💦

Driveway Cleaning Checklist

Before driveway cleaning, clear the surface as much as practical. This helps with pressure cleaning, pre-treatment, rinsing, drainage, and cleaning close to edges.

What should I tell HiPressure before the job?

A quick heads-up before the clean can make a big difference. The more I know about access, leaks, sensitive areas, and stains, the easier it is to plan the job properly.

Electrical areas

Outdoor power points, lights, cameras, electric awnings, pool equipment, and exposed electrical fixtures are worth pointing out.

🌿

Delicate gardens

Let me know about delicate plants, veggie gardens, ponds, new turf, or anything you would like extra care taken around.

💧

Leaks or gaps

Mention leaking windows, garage door gaps, damaged seals, vents, loose flashing, or any previous water entry.

🐶

Pets and gates

Please secure pets if gates or doors may be opened during the job, especially for side access and backyard work.

🚗

Parking and access

Tell me if there is limited parking, steep driveway access, tight side access, body corporate rules, or locked gates.

🟤

Stains and surface issues

Oil, rust, paint, battery acid, heavy lichen, damaged coatings, or loose surfaces may need different treatment or expectations.

Do I need to move everything?

No. This checklist is not about making extra work for you. Just move the easy things if you can. If something is heavy, awkward, fragile, or unsafe to move, leave it and let me know.

The main things that help are clear access, closed windows and doors, secured pets, accessible outdoor taps, and a quick note about anything sensitive or unusual.

Easy to move?

Pots, mats, toys, chairs, bins, shoes, and washing are worth moving before the job.

Hard to move?

Large furniture, heavy pots, and fixed items can usually stay put. I will work around them where practical.

Not sure?

Send a photo or ask before the booking. It is better to check than stress about it.

Customer Prep FAQs

How do I prepare for a house wash? +

Close windows and doors, move cars and small outdoor items away from the walls, unlock gates, bring in washing, turn off motion sensor lights, remove pet waste from grass or work areas, secure pets, and let me know about leaks, delicate plants, outdoor electrics, or areas needing extra care.

How do I prepare for window cleaning? +

Unlock all windows and access doors, clear window sills, move furniture or pot plants away from windows, clear access inside and outside, pull back curtains or blinds where practical, and let me know if any windows are difficult to open.

How do I prepare for driveway cleaning? +

Remove vehicles from the driveway, clear pots, mats, bins, toys, and loose items, keep nearby garage doors closed, and tell me about drainage issues or areas where water pools.

Keep access clear, close windows and skylights, move vehicles away from eaves and runoff areas, secure pets and children, and mention solar panels, fragile areas, leaks, rainwater tanks, or sensitive gardens.
